I'm Robin Hutchinson, and I lead Customer Success and Commercials
for EY's global Client Technology division. But the title only tells part of the story. In practice,
I shape how one of the world's largest professional services firms turns technology ideas into
revenue—guiding commercialization strategy for AI, platforms, and digital products across 150+ countries and territories.
Every Service Line technology officer reports into my organization, which means I'm accountable for
the commercial viability of everything we build—from concept through adoption. I work daily with our
10 regional Chief Technology Officers to align go-to-market strategy for EY Fabric, MyEY, and our
AI platform EYQ. When we deploy AI capabilities to clients, my teams determine how we price it,
position it, and ensure it delivers measurable value.
My technical foundation runs deeper than most assume. I studied AI at the University of Texas back
in 1991—long before the current wave—and that perspective has shaped how I've approached commercializing
AI at enterprise scale. I've helped build the frameworks that govern how EY implements and monetizes
AI solutions globally.
Twenty-seven years as an EY partner. P&L responsibility exceeding $2 billion.
A track record that includes founding and selling a security software company, and building products
that led to a $190M acquisition. The pattern is consistent: take complex technology, find the commercial
pathway, and scale it.
EY's mandatory retirement age means I'll be stepping away from the partnership in July 2026. My career,
however, continues. I'm actively building software through ByZyB.ai—my
personal venture focused on AI-powered applications—and I remain energized by the intersection of
technology strategy and execution. For the right opportunity, I'm very much open to conversation.
Based between Toronto and London. Still building. Still shipping.
